Posted by Cody on 09/04/04 at 02:32 PMI am 14 and curently am taking the 24 hour urine test. Protein in the urine can lead to high blood preasure. It can also be much worse such as kidney disease. However when you had the test if your where dihidrated or crying(like i was becuz of other matters) that can add protein in your urine. Right now i am praying that i dont have anything serius wich i doubt i do. Also if you worried about having kidney disease i think you usualy will get if your parent(of the opposet sex) has/had it. Oh also i just remembered that going through puperty can also cause you to have protein iun your urine. I hope the best for all of you with this. Cause i know peeing in a jar for 24 hours isnt fun.
