Sometimes small amounts of protein is not bad. Normal levels are 0-149 I think. I have been going thru some of this with my daughter. She is 9 and has a level of 455. Her specialist is taking great care of her and has given her a blood preassure med. to help lower the levels. We are now discussing a biopsy. You are not alone. I am scarred to death, but just make sure you ask a lot of questions and don\'t settle for a quick answer. a 24 test measures the amount of protein for a 24 hour period. It\'s a bit strange to collect that much pee but very important. It helps give acurate levels of protein. Good luck. I am also still searching for answers.
