Although no one has corroborated this, I suggested to my doctor that perhaps part of they way WB works is elevating testoterone. Consider the effects:
- elevated heart rate - hair loss - increase sense of well being - highten social aggressiveness - elevated sex-drive - weight loss
All of these mirror the effects cause by low doses of testosterone.
I my own case, I\'ve notice something particularly unusual: my voice is deeper.
Have any of you ladies noted masculinizing effects? Missed periods, more hair on the upper lip, shorter tempers, less subcutaneous fat, feeling less intimidated in social situations, increase muscle mass? If so, I think we all need to have our circulating blood levels of testoterone, and Dihydroxy testoterone tested. I\'d be interested to hear the results, particularly from the women, as your baseline levels would normally be low. It may be however, that WB upregulates the receptors, not the hormone, in which case we wouldn\'t see anything.
Keep me posted. In the mean time, I\'m going to try propecia.
