I started taking Welbutrin XL about 6 weeks ago. Apart from every conceivable side effect, including dry eyes, extreme muscle pain, extreme dizzyness and extreme confusion, my hair started coming out in my brush in HUGE clumps. Even pulling an ordinary rubberband out of my hair every morning brought out reams of my long hair. I stopped taking Wellbutrin XL for a week, thinking it was interacting with another drug I was taking to combat CFS and Fybromyalgia I developed in 1986. All the symptoms stopped escept for the hair loss, which did decrease. But upon starting taking the Wellbutrin XL again, which I only took for a further 4 days, my hair fell out so badly that I wept two days ago. I had no idea it was the Wellbutrin XL until I came upon this site. Wellbutring DOES cause severe hair loss in many people. Don\'t let anybody tell you otherwise. I lost 10 days at work and the pay that went with it and nearly lost my job because of the aweful side effects this drug had on my body. My advice to anybody thinking of taking this drug, which Oprah Winfrey recommends on her show, is DON\'T! It will make you more sick than you will ever know. During the time I took this drug, I got about an average of 2 hours sleep a night. Not even doubling my sleep medication allowed me the relief of sleep. Anybody want to join me taking out a lawsuit against this company that makes this drug?
