My 18 month old son has had excema since he was born. he was two weeks over due and since his birth his skin has been very dry and often flares up with excema. He mainly suffers from it on his face, wrists and hands. Unfortunately we are getting to a stage where nothing seems to work. At first we tried to prevent the excema with creams and soap substitutes, then we used natural remedies and finally we had to resort to steriod creams (something I myself had to use when younger). I dont wish to continue using steriod creams because I know the side effects of these types of treatments. I am currently looking into any new break through research that may help.
