I too would use it when I would get blisters (I play softball and the glove I wore caused horrible outbreaks on my hands) and told my DR and he said to not use it. It can actually cause infection when used too often on open sores I guess. I use protopic ointment my DR prescribed and it helps immensely when I have a flare up, though it is not for extreme cases as it is a steroid ointment. I hear Elidel is great for people with cronic cases.
