HI there i am 29 and have atopic excema i was in hospital 5times last year I have been on cyclosporin and it was the worst thing i have done. For me hot showers drys out and brings on a flare up, dust does as well i wash all bedding in hot water and i vaccum the bed as well, I also wet dust and i try not to have to much sugar because i tend to get break outs when i eat choclate and junk food. I also have vitamin b12 daily and evening primrose oil, flax seed caps and when i do it, it helps to widen the gap between flare ups. I also put on 50/50 its a vaseline type moisturiser on as often as possible. I get so frustrated because i find it is difficult to be able to maintain excema when there is only 1% locoid and then beta cream which is a strong steroid cream there is no in the middle cream which means my skin becomes immune to the hard steroid and the whole process starts again
