Try a basic aqueus cream (boots)-none with ingrediants of sodium lauriate sulphate. Use this as a soap substitute smother yourself before showering or bathing and rinse off, as soap dries you out. Perfumes are a no no it is best to keep things as simple as possible. Try different creams and you may find different textures work at different times of the day. It may be best to use condoms suitable for oil based products as this will destroy latex condoms. Look at what triggers things (food, stress, clothes, cleaning, etc).

steroids creams/tablets do help in major flare-ups but need to be taken regularly for them to work but it is important to moisturise at least once a day but to realise that that the more moisture to your skin the better you shold feel. I find a cool bath is better than a shower.
