When I have an attack, I get the fluid filled blisters and they are very painful. I doctor prescribed Nystatin Cream 100,000UPC. It helps to get rid of the blisters in a day or two. The affected area takes about 2-3 weeks to completely clear, but of course, the outbreaks reoccur whenever.
