wow i can definately identify...best solution is go to cancun! haha..i went for a week and all my excema cleared up...the only problem is coming back and experiencing it again. =( I\'ve had it for almost 20 years now, and it\'s pretty much all over my body, legs, arms, back, fingers, you name it I\'ve got it there except face and neck..thank god! Here\'s what I\'ve found...it gets worse when: I eat beef, chocolate, shrimp, mango, am stressed, have lack of sleep or menstruating. I\'ve tried acupuncture along with chinese medicine...which works if you can discipline yourself, currently I have something called excema oil which is pretty good but it does contain like 0.1% cortizone, yesterday I tried the Aveeno Oatmeal bath thing, and it was ok but you must resist scratching b/c it will hurt like crazy later, and i\'ve been using protopic which i think works better than eledel, which are the only two non-cortizone ointments available (at least in Canada). Oh, I also tried UV-B radiation treatments when I was younger, and they worked to my recollection, and i think it has potential to work. Grossest thing about excema is waking up in the morning to blood and skin everywhere...definately the biggest gross out factor for me. Hopefully this is helpful...always good to share ideas with fellow sufferers...b/c sometimes what kind aworks for someone really works for someone else ^_^ My favourite piece of advice from my dermatologist \"Just don\'t scratch!\" (haha...easier said than done!)
