I am trying to keep my home more humid by boiling water,soon I will purchase a home humidifier. My daughter had very little trouble with it for the 7 years we lived along the Gulfcoast where it is very humid. Our fist winter back in the northern U.S. brought back her excema and its a little worse now. We also use Cetaphil lotion. You might need some kind of antibiotic to clear up the infection (that\'s why you have puss) and use gentle cleansers with natural antiseptics like tea tree oil to further reduce infections while you heal.
