Absolutely agree with your point. My primary point was that if you were looking for a licensable program, NITE wasn\'t one of them. In other posts, I am strongly in favor of everyone learning and using whatever healing skill they can. I prefer local, hands-on herbalist programs or in person apprenticeships to distance learning, because I learn better when I can use more senses. But I also have some difficulty with distance learning because I have dealt with people who purchased diplomas without classwork. In trying to refer patients to areas without licensed NDs, I was startled to find that even Clayton maintains no referral listing, making it impossible to tell who has actually graduated from Clayton and who xeroxed a diploma. It also makes it impossible for me to refer patients, because I can\'t find Clayton grads. Locally, I have already contacted and know many good healing practitioners with and without various degrees. I refer to them because I know they will help.
