Posted by jolene on 02/20/03 at 04:01 PMI am originally from Washington state but am just about done with my undergraduate in Arizona. The cost of living in WA is higher than AZ. SW is really close to ASU so that might play a role in your decision. AZ is very hot about 3 months of the year. Right now it is Feb and 73 degrees. I am not sure about the different schools but I am sure about the actual location of some of the schools. If you want a beautiful area and don\'t mind the rain, the NW is your place. If you like being able to go outside at night in the winter and only need a light jacket (plus if you want to, you can drive to snow in 1 1/2 hours), AZ is great.
