I would be leary of naturopaths who are not state licensed and schools that are not accredited. See the AANP website and Bastyr University. A licensed naturopath in Washington State does 4 years of post-graduate work and then takes 11 board exams to get his or her license. They are then primary care physicians who can do labs and take insurance. They can diagnose and have partial pharmaceutical licenses. This type of naturopath is licensed in 12 states and is usually the hub of any good integrative practice.
