Dear Shelly, It also matters significanty how \"into\" Chinese medicine you are. While NCNM offers an adjunct masters, it takes at extra two years. My sense is that becoming an ND really met my need to get grounded in the western medical paradigm and to use that as a platform to to alternative care. OCOM is grounded differently. But another huge factor is how comfortable you feel in both locations. I would attend classes and talk to students at both.
