I\'m almost 50 yrs. old.Had a heart attack in Aug.of 2004.In the meantime my son went to Africa to work on comm. towers. He gets malaria and in the meantime has to have valves replaced, fingers and toes amputated, etc.Luckily my doctor kept me off work all this time.Well when my son died in Dec. of last year,I started drinking very!!!! heavy.I developed pancreatitus. They looked for me to NOT make it the first night.I spent the next 3 months in hospital. My pan. was too inflamed to work with.3 months w/ no food or water,IV\'s only.Lost 70 lbs. and dont take prevacid nor blooodpressure meds. They finally took out 50% of my pan.and all my gaul bladder.also had to scrape a lot of infection from my insideas. Was dismissed April 1,2005.NO I\"m not gonna drink,I\'m over my sons death.I\'m wondering what\'s in store for me in the future. My primary care giver says I won\'t go back to work. The specialist I haven\'t ask yet,as I still 2 tubes emptying into a colostomy bag and another tube in my liver.I guess it\'s there \"just in case\".If I do go back to work,I\'ll be working out of state,in most cases where there\'s not much of anything to eat but fast food.I\'m thinking it will wreak havoc on what\'s left of my pancreatitus. Is there anything else I should be aware of.By the way,I operate \'on track\' machinery. That means that if something did go wrong sometimes you cant even get a helicopter up to you.I work in W.Va. and Va.If there\'s somebody out there that can give me some pointers I\'d sure appreciate it.By the way, they said my drinking didnt help my case any but stress from my boy dying and a gaul stone getting lodged did the most of it.I thank-you for your time.
