Hello, I agree with you. I enjoy the distance learning. It is also better for me, working part time and caring for my 3 children (5, 4, & 17 months) full time. I have always done much better with distance learning because I really wanted to do that education, where as in school, I didn\'t really want to be there. People also think that my distance education is not as good and that they worked harder than me. I don\'t know of any classrooms that have small children asking for your attention every 5 seconds while you are studying. I feel I work just as hard as they do, if not harder sometime (not all the time). I do think that as a distance student, I obviously miss out on the hands on, however in some instances, it is not necessary. I read the definetions that you had in your response. I am wondering something. I am planning to start a Bachelor degree in Alternative Medicine and then finish off with a Doctor in Alternative medicine and then I will be applying to the Examining Board of Natural medicine Practitioners to write their exam and gain the title of Doctor of Natural Medicine. What I am wondering is if Traditional Naturopaths use herbal remedies for patients, if they use other therapies such as Aromatherpay, Reflexology, etc? I will be studying a number of therapies I plan to use in practice. I saw that Traditional Naturopathy does not include drugs, minor surgery, obstetrics, etc. I will not be learning minor surgery, which is fine with me. I will be learning about gynaecology and obstetrics and am wondering why Traditional Naturopathy didn\'t include this. Thanks for your help, Jennfier
