As a recent student of Clayton\'s ND program I try to keep myself informed of all the developments in the Naturpathic field. Your letter was worded so well Bill - you certainly hit the nail on the head when you pointed out the much needed distinction between NMDs and NDs. I can surely imagine that if I invested the money and time in a four year program, I wouldn\'t appreciate a graduate of a distance learning school using the same title.

I myself, am only interested in the Traditional Naturopathy route, but have complete respect for those that follow Medical Naturopathy. It think it\'s wonderful that there exists such a combination between allopathic and natural training and may hopefully pave the way for an emergence of natural minded doctors. However, the public should be made aware of the differences in Naturopathic titles, should there become an official distinction between an ND and an NMD, thus keeping everybody informed and happy.
