Scope of Practice
Posted by Kent on 08/27/03 at 11:02 AMTo all ND\'s: In Utah (where I\'m from) they liscence NDs. I am just wondering if any NDs feel limited in what they have to offer their patients. For example: if a patient really needs a pain medication for a short period of time what do you do? From my understanding Utah doesn\'t allow NDs to prescribe controlled substances. My overall question is simply: Do you ever feel limited or restricted with certain aspects of medicine and how does that affect the patient. Thanks for any ideas.
