You have not done your research. Naturopathic physicians are primary care givers in 13 states. The American Medical Association is not the end all be all and they have a vested interest in continuuing to recieve financial support from major pharmaceutical companies. Our health care is in a sorry state. The four year Naturopathic Doctor programs are the beginning of a bright future, and some are now including residency. No doubt the training will deepen and evolve in the near future.
