The doctors told me I had acute pancreatitus about two years ago. I have had bowel issues for about the last 7 years. I\'ve seen a specialist and he gave me all kinds of scopes and scans! well, he said that I seemed pretty well form what he could see until I told him that I had an acute attack 2 years ago and another last year. the first one was horrible. the second one I meicated myself with a little alcohol and opiates! I am 29 and I was a raging alcoholic and garbage head for the last 12 years. I\'d love to swap some emails about this! I had a relapse 2.5 years ago after 2 years of clean time and I finally got back 6 months ago! I happen to live in a community residence that is highly structured! The staff here try\'s the best that they can to be supportive, but the house cant support my dietary needs! I have tried to discuss this issue with them and they think I\'m full of shit sometimes I think! They think that I use this illness as a crutch! If they knew how it felt somedays ,.. they would recant their statements! U see, I haven\'t had a real bad attack since the first one,. But I am in dicomfort every day. I spend alot of time in the bathroom (even when nothing is happening!)I haven\'t had that back ache and attrocious crippling pain, but I suffer just the same! I am absolutely sure that this is what ales me! Doctor agreed and gave me some maintanace suggestions! I am trying not to have one of those painful attacks again! I have stopped drinking, smoking and I try to eat properly! CAN U IDENTIFY WITH ANY OF THIS? PLS EMAIL ME IF ANY OF YOU CAN!
