The Vet Centers (located all over)can help both you and your husband so much! There are also some really great VA counseling facilities for PTSD around the US. My husband(POW)went to one in Little Rock, Arkansas. PTSD is very treatable. The sooner you get treatment the better! -- Stops the behavior and trama from getting so ingrained into the personality. We found the Vet Centers understood what my husband was going through when counseling outside of the military did not. My husband said he is learning so much -- he just wishes he could have learned it earlier. This concerns the whole family so you go for information even if he will not. I had to learn and get the info before my husband would start. Great books: Back From the Brink (A family guide to overcoming tramatic stress) by Don Catherall. Also, books by Aphrodite Matsakis. I order used from Amazon. Good Luck to you and God Bless!
