There are way too many correspondence course grads in my state who are trying to pass themselves off as real NDs. They miss diagnoses, misdiagnose, and unfortunately, because they are not professionals, violate ethics.
While it\'s a nice idea that a layperson could take a Clayton correspondence course to self-educate to avoid out-of-pocket expenses, I\'m sure the expense of that alone would equal what western-med-style NDs sell.
