I know someone like Calvin has posted something like this before. I want to put on record that i have nothing to do with him or any other posts here. I also have nothing against Melilea for I have used the product and its good. I am posting this so that all those who are unaware will be able to ask some questions before deciding for themselves.
The same questions will be poste to MR SINGH, the supposed counsel for Melilea.
There are a few questions to be answered.
The certificate is issued by Health Services Dept (HSD), Food and Drug Branch. Is the contents certified organic? Nowhere in the cert does it say the contents are certified organic. HSD only certified that the corporation called Greenfield USA Corporation is registered to manufacture, pack and hold processed food. Unless there is a USDA organic chop, a product is not a certified organic as far as USA is concerned. So who is the certifying authority on the contents?
Is there an official USDA classification of such thing as 5 Star organic? Is it a marketing invention?
Is there a 30 km requirement for separation from pollution as claimed? Is that possible? Its almost from one end of Singapore to the other. I have seen other farms which have been classified as organic by USDA and they are not far from the major road.
Why is the product not sold in USA and just here when its made there?
There are many questions but this will suffice for the time being.
