I wouldn\'t go so far as to say that faculty were selling Lanmark. It was mostly students who approached me to come to recruiting events. This may because most of my classes werein the basic sciences and only a few taught by naturopaths. It is definately pushing some ethical boundries, though for a naturopath to use their practice as a recruiting tool for this group. (You should probably report your practitioner to the Board of Health in your state).

Also, there IS some modicum of medical science taught in the first two years of the program along with the VERY flakey \"naturopathic philosophy\" courses. But, after that, students are expected to forget all that they know of scientific inquiry to accept a lot of irrational ideas in applying treatments.

And, the lack of adequate clinical experience for students to hone diagnostic and tratment skills is the really scary part!

Other schools MAY be better than Bastyr, but I can\'t speak from my own or others experiences.
