NDs sort of \"fly under the radar\" here, so there is very little referring among the various fields. The reason they do not advertise or make themselves more well known is because the Attorney General\'s office would love to \"nail us\" as one ND put it. However, having worked with the AG\'s office, that is not the attitude of the consumer affairs\' investigators. They would love it if NDs give nutrition advice, but not diagnose and treat. The investigators claim they just don\'t have the time for frivolous \"witch hunts\", which is what NDs call any investigation undertaken by the AG\'s office.
