Thank you MS3,

I do realize naturopathy is \"merely\" hundreds of years old as opposed to several of the modalities which are thousands of years old. I would like to know, what do you see for the future of naturopathy? What would you like to see? What do you think needs to change and what needs to happen for that change to take place. Would you prefer to see naturopathy wither and dye or would you like to see it grow in a legitimate direction. I do know there are a good deal of highly intelligent and caring people out there practicing naturopathy and quite effectively. Yes you may have decided to go the conventional route and get the MD but this route is not the only road to benefiting lives. I am very interested to hear of what you truly would like to see of naturopathy in the future. Again I did take the MCATs, scored in the 30s, and did fill out primary applications for med school. I am not a flake by any means. I am interested in your response because I know there are others like me who have gone into naturopathy and many more who will. I for one will be an agent for change in the field. I will work to bolster the scientific documentation in this field. Yet I do not think that the ancient healing arts should be \"modernized\" only that there benefits need be well documented by good, reproducible scientific research and clinical outcome studies. So again please let me know what you, as a future MD, see for the future of naturopathy, and what you would like to see done. Thanks.
