Derek, What sets naturopathy apart from, say clinical nutrition, a generally recognized and scientifically based profession? It seems that naturopaths describe themselves as experts in \"natural medicine\" and then go on to describe diet, exercise, movement, sleep, reduction of stress, and hydration, as the basis for good health. This isn\'t rocket science! Anyone can pick up Vegetarian Times and read about that stuff.

NDs use different treatment modalities, but, again, this is not preventive medicine but fixing up of symptoms and dis-ease that has already happened?

It just seems like an ND program (expensive) and the services of NDs (expensive) to dish out info that is readily available to people is overkill.
