I found out this past Feb. that I have a nodule in the right lung middle lobe. I have not smoked for over 22 years and the doctor doesn\'t seem to know why I would have this nodule. I also had at that time enlarged lymph nodes on ct scan. I am doing a repeat scan in a couple of weeks after deciding not to have a biopsy done. Is this a smart route to go? I feel like all the doctors I go to try and sugar coat everything and yet I don\'t want to over worry either. I just want a very frank answer. The nodule is not calcified, irregular in shape and approx. 1.2x1.4cm in size. The doctor also said because of the location in the lung, he can not do a bronchioscope. The only other thought was sarcoidosis, whatever that is, but I don\'t think I have any other symptoms for that. What should I think?
