I am mystified as to why you are not asking your Dr. these questions. You need to be more proactive! It\'s your life, not his. My experience was that nobody bothered to call me with results and when I repeatedly called, I was treated like a pest. Call your Dr. and make appt.for consultation. Tell him you want to know why he used that particular code and what it means. You have a right to know. We pay for these tests, yet the Dr.s act as though we are not entitled to know the results. If your DR. continues to put you off, change Dr\'s. I personally won\'t deal with a Dr. who won\'t have their nurse call me back with test results, regardless of what the test was for (blood work, mammogram, pap test, etc.) If anything serious is suspected, the Dr. should personally call to schedule an appointment with you for a conference.
