Sorry to reply so late but just discovered this web page. I have had pancreatitus twice, inflamation of the pancreaus. Mine caused from gall stones. Had gall bladder removed but a few months later had another attach. Evidently gallstone was left in duct. I was deathly ill, vomiting and pain across the abdomen. Was hospitalized 4 times last year with problems. Nothing much they can do but stop your eating and put you on IV for about a week. I also acquired pancreatic cysts which pressed against my stomach and made me feel full all the time. Lost down to 103 pounds usually weighed 130. Was hospitalized for 3 weeks for that. Hang in there maybe they can do the easy surgery by just making 3 or 4 small incisions in her stomach as they did to me, very easy surgery.
