I too have never been a drinker and I detest that the doctors jump to that conclusion. My triglycerides were also real high but I have them down to 300 now. My cholesterol was 415 and is now 280 in just a week. I have learned I have to stick to a soft food diet and not over eat. I was also diagnosed as a boderline diabetis just recently. I hav eonly been home 5 days and I still have a long way to go but I am sticking to the diet. Good luck to you.
