Posted by jessie on 03/30/03 at 02:36 PMabout six years ago i had acute/cronic pancreatitus and the had to remove 70% of my pancreas and also my spleen.i am lucky not to have any side affects or complications since my surgery.there is no one that can tell me why i had pancreatitus or if it can happen again.they say that one of the main reasons one would get pancreatitus is from drinking alcohol alot....the weird thing about it is i never was one to drink..as i surf the net i realize that there are many people that suffer this disease...i also want to learn more about pancreatitus. if you dont mind fowarding anything to me ...thank you and good luck
