I was just wondering if you might be able to put some of my fears at rest with this condition which I do not suffer from but my mother does. She was just in the hospital with her second attack of pancreatitus. Her levels were at 4,000 and reduced over night at the hospital to 1,000. She had been in the hospital previously with this condition wherein they had went into her pancreas for a basic in out procedure which lead to a months stay in the hospital wherein we almost lost her. The other night she could hardly breath with pains in her chest and my father rushed her to the hospital just before this thanksgivving. They did a CT Scan and sonograhm and it showed nothing. The doctors said that they feel they need to stint her again into the pancreas to get a better idea of what exactly might be going on to see if her bile duct is possibly clogged. Do you know whey they couldn\'t see this with the two tests they took. I fear the worst. She is my best friend and I will die if anything happens to her. Just hoping someone like yourself might have some insight with this type of situation.

Sincerely,

Lisa
