Posted by Natasha on 08/31/03 at 07:20 PMHi everyone. I am only 19 years old, and last year on June 3rd...I was diagnosed with acute pancreatitus. I have had type one diabetes since I was 14. I was only hospitalized for a week because I wanted to get out in time to graduate with my class, but I was very sick. My symptoms were excessive vomiting and unbearable stomach pains, sometimes the morphine they gave me wouldn\'t take care of the pain. I don\'t drink at all so that wasn\'t the cause of it. The doctors actually think it was the diet pills that I was taking. Exenedrine. The effedrine might have set it off, but who knows.
