i too have had many ercp\'s too many to count, too many days and weeks in er and too many months to count the amount of daily \"untreated\" pain.

after reading many emails i have realized that not just the physical pain but the emontional stress and depression of each attack leaves scaring.

my last consultation with a doctor was 7 years ago after surgery. the attacks have not stopped but the severity has decreased and frequency.

i only seek medical help whne the pain is too unbearable (normally i have collapsed)

what kind of daily meds could i be seeking for pain relief??

i have had a peustow procedure by dr bryce taylor at the toronto general hospital which has helped but not ceased the attacks.

any information you can provide would be helpful
