Hello, I am wondering how long MD programs are in the US. I looked at one University program here in Canada for an MD. I can\'t find eligibility requirements for entrance, but I assume it is a Bachelor degree. The MD program itself is only 3 years long and then they can specialize in something. I realize that they have to do the residency, but if an ND is in school for 4 years, they are in for longer. The programs I was looking at for Doctor of Natural Medicine expect a clinical intership after graduation from the 3-4 year program, which isn\'t much shorter in the end than an MD program. So I would think that they are prepared to be primary care physicians. Jennifer
