The majority of my posts were based on personal experience, and questions to Nds\\students, which were really not answered. Also provided were links to BUs viewbook. Comments were based on posts here from less than satisfied students at BU, and having been a client of an ND, I was really surprised by the cost for what I considered to be info that can be found in Prevention Magazine. As this is an Education Forum, I came here to ask. The more I research and see what other people are saying, the more I realize that naturopathic education and treatment is so disparate in the US that it cannot be relied upon as a means of primary care.

While not a diploma mill, BU\'s admission standards appear to be lax. After reading the thread that Jennifer started about distance learning in which Steve provides info about written requirements vs reality, and hearing the exact scenario described on another forum, I cannot help but think there is a chasm between requirements in the viewbook and what BU will accept.

A bunch of us here in an unlicensed state were thrilled to find we had a naturopath right around the corner, but our collective experience has been disappointing. There is nothing about our experience you can validate, but it should at least raise questions for clients and prospective students.
