your right, DNM and ND are not the same, nor do they want to be.Nd\'s have the attitude that they are the only ones who should be practicing natural medicine because of their four years of medical sciences. I agree that both need to be educated in basic health sciences, but it does not make alot of sence to me to learn four years of health sciences and then be taught therapies that have no scientific back ground. It is really moving from one extreme to the other.just because ND\'s study health sciences like a medical doctor does not mean that they are superior to others when performing natural therapies or using non invasive techniques to help someone heal themselves. i believe we have to protect the public but the line should not be drawn at the few colleges that train Naturopaths. naturopathy is loosing its true meaning. There are alot of good natural therapists out there who are doing amazing work with their clients and they need to be recognised for their work.I know many people who have lots of training in their field but it doesn\'t necessarily mean that they are good at it, or that they even are capable of getting good results, and vice versa.
