Hello, I agree with the fact that you have to have an on-campus degree if you want to practice as a licensed ND. I am in Canada however, and what I really want to do is become registered as a Doctor of Natural Medicine. It is different and there are no laws here governing their practice. Here I can not call myself a Doctor if I am in the health care field unless I am one of 5 Doctors (Dentist, Physician, and I forget the rest). Anyways, I would rather practice traditional Naturopathy or Natural Medicine. I don\'t want to do any minor surgery, etc. I won\'t be able to diagnose because of the way the laws are here and that is fine with me. There are only 3 Naturopathic Doctors in my city and I hope that after graduation they will allow me to work with them so I can gain the clinical I will need and learn more from them, because after finishing my programs, I will have to continue to learn new things. I will not be learning acupuncture, I would rather learn acupressure, and reflexology. Those I can practice here without any restrictions. I of course, will be doing much practical before I start on clients/patients. I can also go to the local Reflexology association and have my education evaluated and write their certification exam, which includes a practical poriton, so I have checked everything out in my area. However, for the most part, it will be nice to have this education to help keep myself and my family healthy. Jennifer
