Point taken. My response was a bit cryptic. So here goes ... I\'ve been a client/patient of several grads of 4 year college ND programs and I have had less than satisfying results. They are products of their educational system - just like medical doctors are. And if that\'s the product of the educational training, then I\'m not interested in it - regardless of recognition.

So I\'m actually purposely looking for an alternative to the 4 year programs. Why? Because I believe there is an important difference in philosophies between the two.

And yes, I appreciate your comment about the practicing medicine without a license - that\'s part of why I continue on my search. Who knows, maybe I won\'t be able to find what I\'m looking for (true holistic naturopathy) and have to consider some other alternative. But for now I\'m trying to gather information and see where that takes me.
