I\'ve been on Effexor XR for a couple weeks now, i have increased my dosage to 75 mg. I don\'t see any negitive side effects the dry mouth went away as well as the sexual side effects. I\'m a 21 year old 12th grade biology teacher. it gets stressfull at work with my students because we are so close in age, since i\'ve been on effexor i have noticed that i am always in a good mood i have loads of energy. With all meds there are side effects and with drawl symptoms, we read about them and they scare us, but honestly how many millions of people are on this drug. Meds are like everything else in life you only every here about the few negitive things about it. i don\'t doubt for one second that some people are having a hard time deal with any part of this drug, however, these things don\'t happen to everyone. If it\'s not working for you slowly VERY slowly wean yourself off and try something else, if you feel like your dr. cut your RX to much take a little more. i mean this is a capsule with little beads in them lol
