1)Ignore everything your husband\'s naturopath said. She obviously either intentionally lied to you about the contents of the supplements she sold you or is ignorant of the ingredients they contain. I\'m not sure which is worse!
2) If she made a diagnosis or attempted to treat disease, report your naturopath to the local department of health. Clayton \"grads\" are not licensed to practice medicine in ANY state. Even 4-year school grads are only licensed in a handful of states.
3)If you wish to explore Chinese medicine or meridian theory, look for a licensed acupucturist (AACOM accredited) or physician (MD or DO) acupunturist (AAMA certified) in your area. Be aware that some traditional acupunturists (ie: LAc, OMD DOM) DO use animal products in their herbal formulas. Please adress your concerns with the practitioner.
4) Dr Weil generally takes an even-handed approach in his evaluations of therapies. I don\'t always agree with him. But, I consider him a reliable source of information.
