Posted by Emily on 12/29/03 at 07:27 PMI am only 18 years old. I have had pancreatitus since I was atleast 14. It started out putting me in the hospital every 3 months or so. In the past year I have been hospitalized atleast 7 times, and each time I am in for atleast a week. I have missed my prom and been told I could not be in drama productions for the simple reason that they didnt know if I would be around. My case has gotten progressivly worse. I now have narcotics to take at home when the attacks come, But I still end up in the hospital every other month. Is there anything that can be done to avoid attacks?appetite?stress? Please help...I would like to actually have a life in college.
