I was just diagnosed with pancreatitus yesterday. I drink occassionally, beer only. But haven\'t in several weeks. I went on a cruise and got this ship borne virus. This is week #3. I am in severe pain and the doctor\'s don\'t believe I don\'t drink . In an out of hospitals the last 3 weeks. Getting scared now. What makes pancreatitus chronic or a short lived problem? What can I do for the pain.
