Posted by Nita on 09/24/04 at 10:41 AMI believe it could be the blood pressure medication. I had my first bout with pancreatitus after being on Hyzaar for bllod pressure for 1 year. After I changed the medication, the problem subsided for 2 years. Since this January, I\'ve been hospitalized five times for accute pancreatitus. The first 3 times were attributed to other medication I was taking for a shoulder injury (anti inflamatory and muscle relaxer) both of which contained hydrochlorazide (sp?) - which is believed to cause the attacks for me.
