my mom was just released from the hospital after 12 days for a bleeding artery in her stomach (she had ulcer surgery in 60\'s) After going through a procedure to stop the bleeding artery where they go in and put a grainy sand like substance on the artery she immediately begin to have bloating, left side pain and gas/w/indigestion. I have never in my life seen anyone burp like this before. We have a great internest but I think we have a so-so gastro doctor and in doing a scan said it showed a little pancreatitus. I came on line to search around and found you article and it sounded like my mom. She is 81, has never drank but does smoke (thus the bleeding artery). I was wondering since your article is dated if you have any more informative info on this subject, because your symptoms sound like hers. Does the indigestion and burping get any better with time. She can only eat very small amounts of food at a time. Thanks
