I am completely in the dark on this problem and would like any information as to the cause/effect and treatment. I am a non-drinker, but I have had a stomach ulcer for several years and approximately 20 years ago was hospitalized for anemia caused by internal bleeding of the ulcer. Could this be a cause of Pancreatitus? What are the effective treatments/medications for this problem? What medication can be taken for pain control; nothing seems to help. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
