Posted by tammy on 11/15/04 at 07:52 AMhi michelle my boyfriend has had pancreatitus for 2 years now he just had a surgry done to bypass his duck from the small intestence to the large intestence and he also had a large cyst removed off the pancreas....but anyway for the last few months we\'ve been trying to figure out what he can eat and what he cant eat. and it always varies, one day he can eat something and the next day that same thing he would get sick from. so we talked to the doctor about this and he said its ussually not the type of food that you eat but how much your stomach is consuming at once example: you may have an apple and feel fine but then have a bottle of water with it and the water could be what pushes you over the edge or vise-versa. good luck too you michelle i hope that yours isnt as servere as my boyfriends is. hes on his 3rd surgry.
