Posted by kay on 07/14/02 at 06:59 PMhi douglas. my husbands problem seems to be the pancreas is producing too much enzymes.I thought he was going to die when he had the last attack. i havent\'s seen any one in so much pain. he has been in the hospital for three weeks now and is being kept on i.v. so the pancreas can rest.over 60% of the organ has been damaged beyond repair. the bottom line is they will have to remove it but i hope it dosen\'t come to that.thank you for shareing and good luck with your new therapy.
